LIFE International is an anti-abortion organization based in Grand Rapids, Michigan that seeks to establish Christian-rooted “pregnancy centers” “wherever abortion exists” outside of the United States to offer alternatives to abortion. The group identifies that 95% of pregnancy center resources are spent in North America despite the fact that the majority of the 46 million abortions it claims take place occur outside of North America.
The company has received support from Jonathan Borisch, the CEO of weapons contractor Borisch Manufacturing in Grand Rapids. Borisch gives his employs a two-week, paid vacation in which they can engage in missionary activities every two years and has been a member of LIFE International.
