The Daniel & Pamella DeVos Foundation funds primarily non-political civic, church, and educational organizations and institutions. However, it currently and historically has funded some “religious right” organizations including the Family Outreach Center in Grand Rapids (formed due to the large amount of funding coming to the Family Research Council in West Michigan), Northwood University, Gospel Films (Gospel International), and organizations connected to Luis Palau (Russ Bellant, The Religious Right in Michigan Politics, Americans for Religious Liberty, 1996).
