League of Women Voters Voting Guide Released

The League of Women Voters of Michigan has released it nonpartisan voters guide. The guide is noteworthy because it includes third party candidates for a wide range of offices.

The League of Women Voters of Michigan has released its 2008 Voter Guide. The guide–which contains responses to questionnaires by candidates for the US Congress, the State Board of Education, the University of Michigan Board of Regents, Michigan State University Trustees, Wayne State University Governors, the Michigan Supreme Court, and the Court of Appeals, as well as information on the two ballot proposals–is noteworthy because unlike many voter guides, it includes third party candidates. While the number of questions asked is fairly small, it makes up for it with its inclusion of traditionally marginalized voices.

The guide can be downloaded in two parts:

Part 1
