The Michigan Independent Media Center is teaming up with WCBN-FM 88.3 Ann Arbor to provide webcast radio coverage of the 2004 election and its aftermath. The radio feed will be broadcasting for the next 48 hours with high quality and low quality streams in MP3 format. The programming will consist of both live and pre-recorded interviews as well as breaking news.
The Michigan IMC web site will also feature breaking news updates about the election specifically focusing on issues of voter disenfranchisement. Also providing independent coverage of the election is the newly launched indymedia.us.
Voters can report instances of disenfranchisement and other election-related updates to the Michigan IMC using the breaking news hotline at 1-877-825-9535. Media Mouse is also interested in hearing about local voters experiences, please contact us with your observations.
